Located at Deira City Center food court, first floor. Max burger is a famous swedish burger chain that present a range of indulgent burgers and meals ranging from Xtra Mouthful Burgers, Grand de Luxe Burgers and Ultimate Cheese and Barbecue delight.

I waited exactly for 5 minutes for my meal - there was no rush of people since it was Friday lunch time.

I couldn't decide which meal I wanted to, but I was sure I wanted a burger with bacon in it. And so I ordered. I ordered one cheese grand deluxe burger and super indulgence beef burger barbecue.

Unfortunately, there was no drink and fries included in the Entertainer voucher. But still I get to enjoy two burgers for take away. :D

super indulgence beef burger barbecue -  I didn't know that cheese and barbecue sauce could blend. I actually do not like them combined. Because I was having trouble with the taste, I couldn't appreciate too much barbecue sauce on the burger and the bacon was half cooked.

On the other hand the  cheese - grand deluxe burger was great - sorry didn't took a photo of it cause I took it home for mom to enjoy.

*they have a clean branch - and they seem to be very systematic in their ordering system in a way the staff knows the accuracy of the burger's preparation. 

Staff and Service - 6/10

The Noodle House BURJUMAN

This noodle house branch is located at the 3rd level, Pavilion Gardens Burjuman mall.

The noodle house is a vibrant and casual dining restaurant where the chefs prepare aromatic and mouth watering Asian dishes within minutes. The experience is a unique combination of wholesome food and energetic ambiance. Was greeted by a Thai or Malaysian staff.

This is actually my hungry panda face. I am always hungry mode. 

I was actually craving for their Laksa. So I ordered one big Laksa and a Thai Chicken plate, I cannot believe I finished the whole bowl. :D :D :D :D :D This is my hungry happy face.

FIGHT! I wasn't able to finish the Thai Chicken so I asked the staff to wrap em up.

Burger King DCC

This Burger King branch is located at Deira City Center, level 1, Food Court. Visited this branch yesterday, 30 minutes before 1:00PM. This was my early lunch break using the voucher my colleague gave me. There was not much crowd yet so I received my order more or less 5-6 minutes. The service was indeed fast and good in a way that they granted my request to remove the mayonnaise from the sandwich(*cause I am not a fan of mayo).

BUT they did not asked me what drink I prefer? they just gave me Coke. I am not sure of that but maybe my voucher is only entitled with Coke(?). I am also doubting if it was my fault for not asserting the want for a Coke Zero. It it is fine, well, okay. Just wanted to feel that they can go further thinking that their tag line is "Have it your way".

The burger was good. Consistency is perfect - which would mean it tasted similar to the burgers I have had before in Burger King. So I liked it. The fries were great as well.

For a 10AED meal. It was Good.

ROMANO'S MACARONI GRILL MCC

Located at Ground level Mirdif City Center. This restaurant offers a twist of macaroni and a spark from the grill. They have an open kitchen, their table has a huge white paper and has crayons on it. So you can doodle anything on the paper while waiting for your food. 

The waitress wrote her name as introduction on our table - her name was Ivy. 

Our appetizer was this squared tasty bread with rose mary inside. Ms Ivy poured an olive oil on, pepper and salt on a plate making the bread more delicious. 

This extra virgin oil is the bomb. My mom love it so much she wanted a photo with it.

We ordered Grilled Fillet, and New York Steak. 

The New York steak was great, it was soft and well done. My side dish which was originally broccoli and mashed potato. I asked them to convert it into pasta. Cause I wanted pasta! :P

*with manager's presence but made a mistake on my mother's order

MIU SHANGHAI MOE

Located at first level, inside Mall of the Emirates. This restaurant offers authentic asian cuisine. Select cuisines from the delectable menu compromising an electric culinary from Japan, China, Thailand and Indonesia.

My mother and I were greeted by a half Japanese Filipino waitress upon entrance, she gave us great seats near the Ski Dubai area. So cool.

Ambiance - 9/10

Welcome to my 2nd Blog

First let me introduce myself – I am holding a nom de plum Berts or Berting. :) I am a unicorn who loves to eat and I am an ambassador of good vibes. I love my family especially my MOM. I am also taken, sorry ladies and gents. HAHA!

I have been a resident of Dubai since 2012, I am goal oriented, hard working and yes, I am always hungry. I am a baker, a cake artist, a sister, a brother. LOL. I try to help everyone about anything and everything under the sun, but I cannot help you if it is about money issues. I am not rich and I don't lend money for more than 50AED. BWAHA! Okay. Introduction is over.

My first blog is akosiberts.blogspot.com (*warning this blog is for my emotional babbles) and this is my second blog site. 

This blog is for me to share my restaurant and travel experiences with the help of Entertainer vouchers. For some post I might not use the vouchers, maybe because that restaurant was not included in the booklet or simply because it a simple food trip from a cafeteria or the local "carinderia" in UAE. But I will make the most of this booklet for sure. 

So the other day, I purchased an entertainer booklet, this booklet of vouchers offers the best buy one get one free offers for restaurants, activities, attractions, spas and hotels across 40 destinations throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. If you buy a booklet, you will have to tear out the offers and present them for redemption when you ask for your bill at the relevant store. Now I am not sure of the application cause I haven't tried the free hotel application which was included in the blue booklet.

I decided to buy the blue book. It cost 495AED but if you are an emirates NBD card holder you can avail 15% off for the booklet, this book by the way includes a free Entertainer Hotel Application. This book has two volumes.

Volume 1 – Food and Drink plus the Hotel Application

Volume 2 – Food and Drinks, Attractions and leisure and Retail And Services

*I was aware that buying the application would be much cheaper but like I like to share some of the vouchers and tearing it and handing it over to someone would be much better

*offers can be used anytime excluding public holidays

*Number of vouchers to be used in groups.

*You will pay for the higher price of your two orders - the other one would be the free offer

Berting points:

1. One of the problems of having this book is that the book is very large and heavy, so plan your date well and tear out the ones that have multiple sites.

2. Put sticky pads on your must go restaurants.

3. This booklet is very essential for visitors visiting UAE for pleasure.

4. Budget your money well by inviting friends to share the bill for a price of half.

5. Always try to buy any equal or greater value of your choice.
